Competitions and Awards
2010
Béla Bartók International Choir Competition in Debrecen, Hungary. Svanholm Singers was awarded gold and first prize in the Equal voices category, and a special prize for best interpretation of compulsory piece. Sofia Söderberg Eberhard received a conductor’s special prize.
2009
LV Certamen Internacional de Habaneras y Polifonía de Torrevieja. Svanholm Singers received the third prize in the polyphonic category.
2007
The 10th International Choir Festival “Tallinn 2007”. Svanholm Singers won first prize in the categories for Contemporary music and Renaissance music.
2006
Seghizzi International Choir Competition, Gorizia, Italy. Svanholm Singers won all three caterogies in which they competed, and was awarded the prize for best interpretation of Rachmaninoff’s Shestopsalmiye. Sofia Söderberg Eberhard won the prize for best conducting.
2005
Madetoja-festival, Lahti, Finland. The choir won the first prize and the prize for best performance of Madetoja’s De profundis. Sofia Söderberg Eberhard won the prize for best conducting.
2002
Hora Cantavi, Poland. The choir won the Grand Prix award. Sofia Söderberg Eberhard won the prize for best conducting.
1999
Takarazuka, Japan. The choir won the Grand Prix.
1998
Toner för Miljoner, Sweden. The choir won the first prize.
1997
Appeldoorn, Holland. The choir was awarded the Grand Prize and the Audience Prize.
Debrecen, Hungary. The choir achieved second place.
Maribor, Slovenia. The choir reached Grand Prix.
Oskarshamn, Sweden. The choir won its discipline.

Japan. Arranged by agent Musik Leben. 23 concerts all over the country including a TV-recorded concert at Kioi Hall, Tokyo, broadcasted several times by NHK BBS.
