    Mässa

Det skulle vara underbart att få höra er Hodie Christus Natus Est i Visby domkyrka under en medeltida mässa i vecka 32! Gärna en hel konsert med er medeltida repertoire.

    Welcome Sofia

Hello Sofia I’m very happy that you’are returned: my great desire to revise you has been fulfilled so I hope to meet you as sson as possible. “It is through the idealism of youth that man catches sight of truth, and in that idealism he possesses a wealth which he must never exchange for anything else.”Albert Schweitezer. Singing is the spirituality of idealism, an expression of our inner dimension. In these times is difficult to be idealists, even singing is not difficult when you have more strength and courage to live life fully. Sofia you are a singer teacher, your is a position of strength and dynamism of life in one of its highest expressions: a part of the fluid of the LIFE of all the umanity. You’re a very wonderful woman with the charme of the simple girl. Hoping that this is for you a period of professional and human growth I wish you a pleasant stay in Gorizia that every year you learn to know better. Bye

I saw you perform last year in competition in Tallinn. Fantastic work! The piece by Jan Sandstrom–The Singing Apes of Khao Yai–who publishes that? I would love to get my hands on a copy of the music. Thank you!

    8 March 2008-IWD-

Hello dear Sofia, My best wishes for you in this day in which in all the world it remembers the establishment of the day that commemorates the long, hard and tiring work done by women to obtain recognition of their equal rights and dignity with the men which in practical means have the same job opportunities. Perhaps without this commitment of women and men of good will who have incurred, would probably not think of you, in your current job of director of Choirs loved and appreciated in Sweden and other Countries. I hope that one day you Sofia will be composing music and lyrics of a new song in which all women have a unique sentiment of good for herselves and men without hate and passion for social struggle. I ideally send a bouquet of yellow mimosas as a sign of appreciation and gratitude for your presence in my City, Gorizia, and for the meeting, although short, I was able to have with you. Hoping to see you again bye and kisses. A blond man.

    Julkonserten

Helt fantastiskt! Vilken dynamik! Vilken dynamit!

At first I can only say the same like Anna Molnár. I am fascinated by the high quality and the magnificent homogeneity of your singing. It’s great! You were really the best in this competition. And here’s my request. I’m looking for the notes of Björn Isfält already for a long time. You sang this music in Gorizia at sunday. Can you send me the notes or tell me, how can I get them? Thank you very much.

In your webpage titled ‘Romance’ you state that your voyage ends with Schubert in Germany. Which Schubert? Or do you mean Johann Sebastian Schubert in Austria? Thanks, anyway, for some splendid singing in your three releases. I, too, would sing like an angel with a conductor like yours! With kind regards, Ole Baekgaard
